Frequently Asked Questions
How do I play Cube Blast?
Drag the three block pieces from the bottom tray onto the 8×8 board. Fill an entire row or column to clear it and score points. Chain clears on back-to-back moves to build combo multipliers. The game ends when no piece fits anywhere. Plan ahead!
What are special blocks?
Special blocks appear as you level up:
- Bomb — clears a 3×3 area when its row/column is cleared
- Row Clear — wipes the entire row when cleared
- Column Clear — wipes the entire column when cleared
- Multiplier — doubles the score of the clear it's caught in
- Color Wild — removes all blocks of the most common color on the board
How do power-ups work?
Power-ups can be purchased with coins in the Shop or used from the in-game bar:
- Bomb (120 coins) — drag-to-aim, clears a plus-shaped area
- Shuffle (70 coins) — replaces all tray pieces
- Undo (50 coins) — reverts your last placement
How do I earn coins?
You earn coins at the end of every game based on your score (approximately 1 coin per 20 points, minimum 3 coins for Endless; minimum 5 for Time Attack). You can also earn coins from Daily Rewards, completing Daily Missions, or watching a rewarded ad in the Shop.
What is Time Attack mode?
Time Attack is a 60-second mode where clearing rows and columns buys you extra time. Bare placements don't add time — only clears and combos do. Special blocks also grant bonus seconds. How long can you survive?
How do I change block themes?
Go to the Shop from the home screen. You'll find block themes (Classic, Neon, Candy, Mono, and more) and background themes. Purchase them with coins, then equip your favorite combination.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Cube Blast works fully offline. You only need an internet connection for Game Center leaderboards and ad-supported features.
I lost my progress. Can I recover it?
Game progress (score, coins, themes, achievements) is stored on your device. If you delete the app, this data is lost. Game Center authentication preserves your leaderboard rankings and achievements, but not local progress. We recommend not deleting the app if you want to keep your progress.
